Impulse arrives to save the day but is easily taken down by the Reverse Flash, who kidnaps Linda.Nearby, the Flash pulls Jay Garrick out of the wreckage of the gym Zoom knocked him into last issue. Zoom arrives with Linda and quickly defeats both Flashes. Zoom mentions that Linda is precious to Wally but that he cannot protect her. She is a target that needs to go away. With a snap of his fingers, the villain creates a sonic boom, injuring the Flash's wife badly. The Flashes take Linda to the hospital, but Zoom shows up again.
